The running game worries me specifically, the run blocking. Julius and Marion was tackled as soon as they got the ball in the backfield.
Im with ya. As sharp as the passing game looked, the running game looked equally weak. Still...its only preseason. Hopefully things will improve.

The backs are gonna have to get used to running without a fullback. The play calling in preseason is vanilla so having some negative running plays is not unexpected. There was much more focus on pass blocking than run blocking by the coaches and the players. I'm actually surprised Parcells threw the ball so much. It may have been a carrot for a certain receiver watching from home.

Is it because the reason why they passed the ball so much is because of the new scheme we are running? The Cowboys changed their offense, but it is still ball control. We threw down the field for 20 plus yards on many plays. I'd like to see what the running game loooks like tonight. I don't know about the rest of you all. But the running game is my favorite part on offense. Because a good one gives you a better chance of winning a championship than having a good passing game.

Just wanted to say that the Cowboys are completely stomping the Niners right now. For those that was questioning the running game (this includes me). It has looked much better.
