The zone is forcing the US team to take quick jump shots and Wade hasnt done anything yet.

    Arroyo has 13 points already.

    PR 34-30 w/ 6:45 left.

    USA up 37-36 w/ 5:40 left.

    Timeout on the floor.

The officiating has been uneven at best. Or just plain awful for both teams.

    So far,

Melo is heating up w/ the team's last five points. He hit a three from the corner and a J.

LJ is settling for too many jump shots and the team has a whole is a little too hurried against the zone.

Kirk and Battier have played great when they have been out there.

Jamison started and didnt do in his time out there.

Arroyo is playing like he did against the US back in 04.

PR just went up again on a dribble penetration lay-in.

They really need better 3pt shooters. What a shame Michael Redd isn't available to play. He would be lighting it up from beyond the arc.

He was arguable the best player on the team earler on with his rebouding.

USA is playing the same Puerto Rico team they demolished in the exhibition. The only difference is PR is making all of their three and Carlos Arroyo is on fire.

    USA struggles against the zone.

Good thing we had a college coach there to figure the zone out.

Cause that was the huge knock on POP can't figure out the zone, and that would be his big hold back.

    No Bowen, No pop.

    nice job Jerry C.
