I only call fouls if it absolutely made it impossible for me to even get a look. If I go up and someone hacks me but I still get a good look at the basket, I let it go.
and btw. I hate when "players" are thinking they are the refs.
I never said that someone fouled me. When that happens everybody knew it. It was so obvious. Sometimes I allowed ppl to get away with fouls. Other are asking was there a foul, I was saying no no - play the ball.

That's it in a nuts . Streetball is physical. If you have to call ticky-tack to survive, then you should just watch.In other words just play the game.

were i live we always call traveling. i dont care if its two steps and one centimeter. i mean thats basically the biggest fundemental of the game, if you cant play ball without traveling then go home

I like to pretend I'm Dirk Nowitzki and call fouls everytime I touch the ball. Then I cry when someone calls a foul on me.
Dirk is not the only player guilty of that. Gary Payton comes to mind.
The thing about this cat tho is that when we play, we RARELY call anything. Except for him. He calls a fouls all the time when he has the ball. The rest of us dont usually call fouls, but he does. That makes it even worse.
you are either a sore loser if you cant beat out a guy who camps under a ring for baskets.
thats the best way to learn how to play defense under a ring and boxin ppl out.
im 5'7 and 50kgz skinny frame but can sumtimes touch the rim, and i usually get like 5-10 blocks a game playin against scrubs like that. it feels good to block a who camps. i was so good, when i breathe on them they will missed a shot.
I wouldn't call 3 in the key, but I do hate when there is a guy who is obviously taller than everybody and he camps out.
As a matter of fact, when ST gets together to play theres someone who does it on a reg basis.........

Just go up next to him and make sure you got something ready. Maybe like 3 or 5 farts that you know are gonna be really smelly, that will drive him out.
Agree with other posters, been playing basketball my whole life and nobody ever calls 3 seconds in pick-up games, but then again the games/guys I play with everyone knows you don't just camp out in the lane. If it was me guarding that guy I would talk to him some first, just mention that he's spending too much time in the lane. If he didn't respond to that I would forcefully move his ass OUT of the lane, of course being about 6'7/280lbs that's not hard for me to do, but on the flip side you're not going to see me just camping out in the lane to take advantage of my size.
