you should understand a few things about me, then:
1. i am always having fun
2. i never get upset or mad on these boards
3. sometimes i am surprised at the lack of attention and dimwitted remarks, but it is nothing that would ever change my tone from..."i am smarter than you"
4. i post on a topic until i think the others in the thread are either a) not listening b) don't care...i then move on and stop wasting my time
How did you come up with that? Arkansas left the SWC in '91. The rest of the conference disbanded in '96.Meanwhile we blame Texas for the fall of the SWC and they blame us.
You can blame SMU - maybe a little - but there is no way in that Arkansas can blame Texas for the breakup of the SWC when the Hogs were the first ones out the door.

You mean dimwitted remarks like, USC gave the game to TEXAS & the Horns didn't earn it...OR, USC "LET Texas win"?
Well personally I don't have a big opinion about it other than that's what everyone says around here. I don't even know what order the teams left. All I know is the track record of the conference was good. Maybe one sided by a few teams the whole time but still good.
I often search for a story on the conference disbanding online somewhere. There has to be do entation about it I'm sure.

ouch. but frank had a good sense of what was going on. if arkansas didn't leave when the sec was expanding they might have been left behind when texas and a&m left. swc was falling, attendance, intrest, everything. even if it killed our program at least we aren't stuck in the texas state championship leagues.
You cannot possibly believe A&M is a top twenty five team in the nation. You just cannot possibly truely believe that.
Trust me, a person of that quality of character (or lack of) DOES think that is true.
At least we have common sense folk like us who KNOW that isn't true......IMO, NO WAY anm breaks into the top 25 after their game vs Tech.

If A&M upsets Tech, they almost certainly will be in the top 25 - in both polls. Both the Big 12 coaches and the sportswriters in Dallas and Houston will make sure that a 5-0 Texas A&M team is ranked.

i'll bet you, if A&M beats tech, that A&M will be in the top 25 in at least one of the polls....sure. would you like to bet 20$, 50$, or 100$?

aTm won't beat Tech IMO. They don't have the quality speed defenders it takes to shut down that gimmick offense.

...lol, think before you post. why would i make a bet that puts the odds heavily in your favor? for me to win, two things have to happen, for you to win, only one has to happen. and if you used your brain, for once, you'd realize that this discussion has been about IF A&M beats tech what will their ranking be.
for me to continue posting with you, and not ignore you, i need you to do a few things for me:
1. prove to me you can read
2. prove to me you can comprehend
3. proof of high school diploma or GED
4. prove to me that you can follow a conversation...rationally
5. basically, prove to me you're not a dumbass
...if you can do that i will continue to converse with you, if not...then i'll stop wasting my time. b/c while i enjoy posting on this site, i don't enjoy talking to morons and i don't enjoy wasting time...its the only thing you cannot get back. i appologize if this seems drastic, and i do enjoy high levels of tomfoolery, but i don't enjoy it to the point that it takes away from what we are all trying to accomplish here.
How many CFB games have you played in?
zero. i played rugby in college. i had some offers from a 1AA school and 2 division 2 schools...but none of them were schools that i wanted to attend. plus i figured if i really wanted to play CFB at the school i decided to attend i could try and walk on. i played RB and DB in high school though i am not large in stature, in high school i was 5'9" 175 and senior year in college (@ winger) i was 5'10" 190.
...not that you wanted to know all that, but now you do. so again, to answer your question, zero. though, i did flirt with the idea of playing football and playing rugby and went out for football briefly and decided that it was impossible. my first love was rugby and CFB second. it all started at A&M when i was going to try and walk on the Aggie team with Ryan Forester...about a week before that i met someone from the rugby team and he had me come out to practice...love at first contact...LOL. anyway...Ryan went out for football and i played rugby.

sure i can. if A&M beats tech then they will/should be in the top 25...its simple. let me ask you this:
...you cannot honestly believe t.u. was a top 5 team to start the season...you just cannot honestly believe that, can you?
lol. its called an opinion, and i thought before the season started USC was the second best team in the nation, A&M would be a top 20 team, and t.u. was highly overrated @ 2 or 3 (whatever it was). i still think t.u. @ 7 is too high...should be behind louisville and lsu, imo.
