The Ags need to stop ing around with the running game and air it out. There's no way A&M is over three yards a carry right now and Mizzou's secondary looks vulnerable.
gotta stay balanced. A&M WILL wear the tigers down in the second half with Lane...A&M always does. but i agree that the Aggs cannot be afraid to put it in the air as well.
...will be an interesting second half; curious to see what adjustments each team makes. i know mizzou won't do too much cause a big reason the game is ties is cause of turnovers.

I flipped the channel and just saw that A&M's up 25-19. Why go for two to go up six? Obviously it worked out for them, but is that standard on the chart?

Melton doesn't get enough carries to warrant the comparison. So you can't really tell if he is worse, as good, or better.

Missouri's offensive coordinator is not very bright, these 4th down play calling are worse than Greg Davis' calls.
...there's a reason he does not get more carries. his feet are no where near as good as Lane's. keep in mind Lane gets carries and we have goodson and lewis (when healthy).
Jamaal Charles and Selvin Young are bad ass and fit the Longhorns scheme better than Henry Melton does.

Well looks like A&M will win, good win for them.
No one in the Big 12 is undefeated (overrall record) and everyone has at least 1 win after today.
Missouri loses, Colorado wins.
First, if UT handed Henry Melton the ball 25 times in one game, he'd start dodging everyone from the field judge to the Silver Spurs trying to avoid contact. I don't think Lane's anything special, but at least he's a durable hoss that hits people.
Second, I was wrong about abandoning the running game and airing it out. Some dubious playcalling plus the A&M backfield saved this game from becoming just another notch on Chase Daniel's belt. It's tough to win when the opponent has the ball for 40+ minutes.
Congrats on beating an undefeated top 25 team, Aggieland. Just because it's Mizzou and a pick 'em doesn't change the fact that this is an upset.

2. yeah, and i was right. its the same thing with the Aggs every game...they own the second half when they RUN the football
3. people will write this off as mizzou playing poorly, and while they did not have anywhere near their best game...fact remains they did not score an offensive point in the second half and A&M dominated it, again
