The Broncos needed a TD on their last drive. You just knew Indy was going to score.
No doubt, Peyton Manning turned Darrent Williams into his . Champ Bailey had a few completions to his side, but none for more than 8 yards or so. Marvin Harrison wasn't invovled in the 2nd due to Champ. BUT Reggie Wayne had his way with Darrent.
I'm actually pretty pumped with the way the offense played yesterday. Katy was right on with her theory that the offense was holding pack the past few weeks against the Browns and the Raiders. Jake was on the move all day long. They even broke out the old toss play Terrell Davis used to take for 20 yards every time. It was nice.
The loss of Gerard Warren hurt. He's our #1 run stuffer, and Joseph Addai was able to find some success running up the middle. If the Broncs would have been able to turn the Colts into a more one dimensional team, things might have been different. Or maybe not.
Great game. Terrible ending.![]()

I have tons of respect for the Broncos, but someone mentioned owned and I found this quite funny. Enjoy Bronco fans.

I didn't find that funny in the least.
I will say where are you?
I think "owned" is a bit much. It was a great game by two great teams.
I agree. I was just using someone elses use of "owned" to play the song.
I've seen a lot of them. Funny stuff.
But damned it all, the Colts rushing D or lack of it, pisses me off.
Dirk, you are happy the Colts aren't playing the Chargers this year aren't you? Hopefully they will meet in the playoffs.
Why would I be happy? I'd like to see it. LT would probably have 200+ yards, but I'd take the Colts to win it.
I think it's kind of funny that when the Broncos lose I read absolutely nothing about football. , if it weren't for this board, I wouldn't have even known which other teams won yesterday. What a homer I've become.
At first it would be http://coltsrund.justgotowned.com/
but then it would be http://chargerssecondary.justgotowned.com/
That was a tough loss. I tried not to get too upset about it but that didn't work out so much -- there was still a slight feeling of disappointment lingering this morning. And even now. Damn.
At least Plummer looked like a QB. No turnovers, say what?
Wait. He did have a ing turnover. .
But if teams do that, how on Earth with NorCal ever score????
Well I don't really call Plummer laying down on a INDY DL with his arms wrapped around him then the ball comes out to be a Turnover. To me it is bad officiating. If the play is not dead till he hits the ground. Then why do they stop running backs when the forward progress is stopped and they have not hit the ground??? ANd if a Def Player puts him on the ground it would be a 15 yard penalty.
To me that cost the game for the Broncos.
ANd on a side note. Why in the do the COLTS never get called for HOLDING?
Ah, stop your ing.
Looking fwd to seeing Broncos vs Chargers in the playoffs, barring injuries of course..
An injured Plummer might do the Broncos well.
And yes, I too hope they somehow face eachother in the playoffs...........as long as the Chargers are the reigning AFC West Champs and you are playing on our Home field.
Here a mile high salute from a Charger fan!![]()
Javon Walker and Denver D with good games today, please.
Looks like the Broncos and Chargers game has been bumped up to the Sunday Night Game!!!
Bittersweet for you John.
