First 5 teams of each group and the best 6th are qualified for the next round (top16).
TAU (Scola) and Panathinakos (Javtokas) will easily be qualified for the next step, Pau-Orthez(Mahinmi) has good chances too to rech the top16.
Scola (16 pts, 6rbds in 25 min) come back well from his PF injury. He is still one of the best player in Europe. It will be interesting to see what he will do in few month when he will be back at 100%.
Mahinmi (4 pts, 3 rbds in 10 min) has had a bad start of the season. Even if stats don't show it for the moment, he is playing better for few weeks. He should likely have better stats in the following weeks even if Mahinmi will have some difficulties to get a lot of PT because Pau is stacked at PF/C.
Javtokas (2 pts, 1rbds in 7min) doesn't get a lot of playtime with one of the best team in europe. From what I've heard, his coach don't like his lack of BB skills/fundamentals/IQ. He will maybe have more playtime when he will know better Panathinaikos' system.
Scola plays better this year than last year, there seems to be much more "fire" in his game. I haven't seen Javtokas or Mahinmi yet this year.
Milic is playing stellar this year, too bad his talent is wasted on a crapy team like Olimpija. Smodis (CSKA), Becirovic (Panathinaikos) and Lakovic (FC Barcelona) are having a good year too. E. Lorbek is also playing well, but he's buried to deep in Unicaja rotation.
Teams will need about 6 wins to qualify for top16. (based on previous years)
Pau has a good group, the quality is pretty even (with the exeption of CSKA and FCB). I think they should make the top 16.

seriously whats the point of havin mahinmi on the team if they are not goin to give him minutes......this is as worst than milicic stuck on the bench with the pistons at least he got to trained with the pistons and shown whats he learnt given the playing time on the magic.

Well, not now. I don't think I could stand three string bean centers in Austin. I also don't know if he's any better than Anthony Fuqua right now.
But yes, he needs to be somewhere where he's getting good PT.
First, He is injured.
Second, if you had to blame somebody fo Mahinmi lack of PT, it's Mahinmi. He was the starting center at the start of the season but he has not been good enough. Now he is the backup and play 10mpg.
10 mpg isn't a lot but I rather have Mahinmi playing 10mpg against good players than 20mpg (he can't really play more because of foul trouble) against scrubs.

Pau-Orthez has signed Melvin Sanders. He will only play for the euroleague (he can't play in the french league because there are a limited number of american player per team).
Mike Bauer (an american PF) will leave the team before the end of the month, it should open some playtime for Mahinmi even if he has a lot of difficulties for the moment.
Pau looks like more and more like Spurs european DLeague team : Britton Johnsen, Melvin Sanders, Mahinmi, a Spurs' physical trainer and a coach who works for Spurs during summers.
I am glad Melvin found a team to play for.
