I'd rather win the last two games of the season than the first two.

Celebrating the Mavericks demise is a bit premature. Kind of reminds me of folks calling the second round series 'over' last year after we won game six.

The Mavs are too talented to have this losing streak last and I don't like putting the reverse hex on a rival.

It's the reverse hex, regardless. They'll go on a 20 game winning streak because of this thread.

Agreed. It's guaranteeing them a great comeback and finish. It's what's known around these parts as the "Jimcs50 Syndrome".

It's a shame about your horse coming in last, Mavs.

A perfect, unblemished record, 0-2 including a loss by over 30 points to the Rockets.

I JUST WANT TO TELL CUBAN TEAMS DOESN'T HAVE TO PAY MUCH TO WIN GAMES all the time

    Team Payroll
    1. New York Knicks $140,595,134 1-3

    2. Philadelphia 76ers $94,160,749

    3. Dallas Mavericks $92,828,927 0-3

    4. Los Angeles Lakers $77,419,550

    5. Portland Trail Blazers $72,182,174

PS. ok i admit Holt is cheap but as long a we win games=fans satisfaction-> that's okay.

Oden has already said he will be back to Ohio St. next year as a result of his wrist injury and he wants an NCAA championship with his friend Conley. So I guess they must be playing for Dirk's replacement.

oh , i guess we better call it in for the season, no sense in playing 78 more games because guys (OLD and young alike) won't feel any different in game 2 than in game 82 of the season, fatigue won't set in for some teams, t-mac's back is back and good to go 82 straight, injuries will not happen and the mavericks will never gel even though they made minor changes to their lineup and kept the core together

    So that's the reason.

    The Mavs are gelling.

    They're gellin' like a felon.
They're doin' so much gellin' they're swellin'.
They're gellin' with Mrs. Helen McMellen'.

Grow up, no one is expecting the Mavs to roll over and die, would be nice if Cuban would though. We are just having a little fun at the fact you guys are 0-3. Stop pouting already. Mavs fans wine almost as much as the team on the floor! If the spurs were 0-3 you guys would be all over the board with how old the team is and how our window for a championship is closed and locked. So let us have our fun! Go cheer for the cowboys or something....oops sorry they suck too....at least you have the Stars!

That has the salaries of TAW and Finley on them, that's why it's inflated bag. Our payroll for our actual players is pratically the same as yours/the rest of the NBA, we're only 5/6 mill over the cap I think, not 30+.
