It's always a great day in Margaritaville!
Sorry, I had to say that
Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. After Duncan made three, no way would Finley do the same.
It's always a great day in Margaritaville!
Sorry, I had to say that
Cavs-Lakers, of course.
that is just a given! It's always a great day in Margaritaville!![]()
the Margaritas, where is the grape kool-aid?![]()
That sounds like a horrible and boring matchup without any significant repurcussions, but you are correct. The NBA markets the same few players and the same few teams. San Antonio and Dallas are appreciated by the purists.
Spurs/Mavs is easily the best rivalry in the NBA. There is no other compe ion. There havent been games this intense, closely matched, and heated between the same team battling each other over the span of a few years in a long time.
Good game by the Mavs.
The Spurs did a great job fighting to get back in and if a couple things went their way they could have won. But the Mavs did what they needed to do.
I like this rivalry and I'm looking forward to more matchups.
Too bad Manu got hurt.
Stern's favorite....but he is missing the boat with Dallas-San Antonio.Cavs-Lakers, of course.

The truth hurt doesnt it mother er? The Spurs are no longer the Mavs big brother and your defense is ing soft like the tissue I wipe my ass with. Dirk has a ing comfort level on your D that now lacks physical toughness. I am realistic and it ing kills you inside that I am right. As I said many many times WELCOME BACK TO REALITY! Anyways get the American Airlines AT&T Center cleaned up the next time the Mavs visit their home away from home Jan 5th

I usually don't pick the spurs side but you are wrong. The mavs struggled to score against the spurs in the second half. Be a gracious winner. Especially since this is a spurs site. One game hasn't decided reality.
^give him a bike and he will be as tamed as a lion....
If the defense was soft, don't you think you would have won by more than 3 stupid?Reality is that the series is tied 1-1 both on the road, not 4-0 all on Mavs home-court. You are the stupidest person I have ever argued with. You obviously do not know anything (Chris Webber?
) and you enjoy another person's anguish, and when you stoop down to that level, you should not be allowed to be a fan.
You do realize he's a troll don't you?
good game but the war hasnt started yet. these regular season games just further proves that these two teams are neck and neck and probly the two best teams in the league
Yea. I don't know why I bother with him.
Fixed.![]()
While our Spurs and Dallas' Mavericks are being seen as the only two teams in the league, the rest of us who have our eyes open see a lot of other great teams that we will have to contend with. Don't be so myopic and parochial. There are at least three other teams in the West who can kick our butts on any given day.
However, man for man, coach for coach, I like our team's chances. As Pat Riley said the other day, the Mavericks were one lucky team during the last two minutes of regulation play in that seventh game last year. It's time Maverick fans admitted it.
wow you are a total piece of trolling trash.
Wow, a Mavs fan calling out another Mavs fan for trolling. Does this mean that the days of the Mavs trolls are almost over? Damn, I'm gonna miss them.

I'm going to tell your moms she needs to wash your mouth out w/ soap so you can clean that potty mouth of yours little boy![]()
Maybe because the center position isn't quite up to par yet and they aren't playing as well as they are capable of and still winning. By mid season if they lose a game like this there will be more complaints.
This was by far the best game of the season. It was so exciting, even if we lost.
Dirk,
I think you're on to something but I have one concern. If they change the name of the AT&T Center then what would happen to all of the championship banners and trophies? It wouldn't make sense to have anything of the sort in there if the name is changed to the AA Center.
I guess we could leave you 1 division le banner and 1 conference le banner to make it feel more like home for you.
Oh, I also have one more suggestion. Instructions for the heimlich manuever will need to be posted in your new locker room just in case somebody chokes again. Scratch that idea. You guys probably drill that in practice in everyday.
NO
while i realize that Utah and LA are off to hot starts, these two teams are heads and shoulders above everyone in the West. Utah has one tons of close games, and LA has played almost every game at home. maybe they might catch dallas or san antonio off guard in a back to back, but in a 7-game series, and 4 quarters a game, nobody in the West can go toe to toe with these two teams and beat them in a series
