Doubt the kicker they signed can do better on kick-offs
Since the two of them were on the same team and Grammatica was the kickoff guy I'd beg to differ on that point.

Did you hear Vanderjagt tried to commit suicide but failed?

He tried to hang himself but couldn't kick the chair out from underneath him.

Gramatica averaged 1 touchback every 9 kickoffs... very unimpressive.

But , if I can watch a field goal attempt without flinching, then I am all for it.

Cowboys should draft Alexis Serna or Mason Crosby.
All I can think of when Serna comes up is that game at LSU a couple of years ago when he missed 3 PAT's, including one in OT, and the Beavers lost by one.

Thank God! The road is now clear for us to advance to the Super Bowl, I've been wanting to get rid of this guy since he missed the two FG's in the last pre-season game. About time, him.

^I know I sure as was. , even that 22 yard FG against Tampa BARELY made it through, almost clipped the one of the posts. Gald to be rid of that guy.

On a side note, I can totally see this guy making pornos in about 5-6 years, he's just got that look to him.

Former NFL Kicker Mike "Dirk" VanderJerk starring in "Nailing it Hard........and wide right"

    or

Starring in a one man film

Jerry Jones wasted his money on Vanderchoke.

Next order of business that's high on the priority list for America's Team: Trade Bledsoe after the season's over. He'll be someone else's problem.

Now Manu and Grammatica can hang out since they're both from Argentina.
Don't forget Grammatica had an 80% avg before he got injured in 2005. I think this could be our guy for many years to come.

"Gramatica, once one of the NFL's best field-goal kickers who made the Pro Bowl in 2001, spent five years with the Buccaneers before being released in 2004 when his field-goal accuracy dipped dramatically. He actually was signed by the Colts, who had Vanderjagt for field goals and used Gramatica strictly for kickoff purposes."

"Going into the Colts game, the guy was 12-of-15. That's still a high kicking percentage," XXXXXXXXXX said. "He didn't lose any games for us. If I had to put myself in the mix, I feel like I lost some games and I'm still here, so it's just unfortunate."

It was T.O. They said on ESPN earlier that Owens didn't know why Vanderjagt was released because he didn't do anything wrong....

    Bad move IMO.....

So certain players are allowed to go through slumps except for kickers???
