Nice report card. Do they get 5 bucks for every A they bring home?

I'll admit, I think the score on Tony is a bit harsh. He may have had one of his characteristic low scoring nights, but he still ran the offense well and helped move the ball and spread the scoring elsewhere. Also, he was constantly penetrating for kickouts. He kept getting hammered inside, but the refs were choking on their whistles every time. He still did what he is getting paid to do, it just doesn't show on the stat line. So really, the only problem was that he just couldn't hit a shot. Looks like all that shooting practice over the summer paid off.

Good to know we can win games WITHOUT Tony scoring 20+ points this year.

I guess there's only a handfull of us that noticed Beno did well. He already has better court vision and makes better passes than Parker at this point. If he could shoot, Beno would be scary-good.

Parker did not need to be rated higher. For a guy that spent the offseason working on his shot, he's still inconsistent.

I think you will see a lot of manu, brent and TP on the court at the same time.

Alas, I also think it will prevent Devin from getting as much time as I'd hoped.

Too low on TP and too high on Beno. TP was constantly shredding the Kings defense, and didn't let the game slow down. He didn't finish well at the basket though and his shot selection in general was off. Beno didn't make a shot, and had the same number of TOs as assists. Just his first game though.
I have to agree with spurster. Beno didnt look to impressive in the 1st half, and the only thing Tony was bad at was shooting

... and the only thing Tony was bad at was shooting

Gee that's reassuring. He sucked at the one thing he worked on the most this offseason. I feel so much better now.

The offense was moving much more smoothly with Beno in there. Yet he is labeled as "unimpressive"?! Some of you really crack me up.
