Has the NBA even tried to get in 82 games without evern team have 15 - 20 B2Bs?
4 games in 5 days or 5 games in 7 days is just stupid.

Has this issue ever been riaised by the NBA players' union?

It's pretty ing stupid that fatique is more important than the basketball in determining games results, cheating the players and the fans.

If B2Bs could be eliminated by starting the season a week or 10 days earlier and changing the scheduling promam, who'd be against it?

How about more games on Thu night rather than just 2 to keep TNT happy?

I'm surprised the B2B problem doesn't have more complaints.
this is what stern needs to spend his time on not dress codes
boutons post in this thread is one of the best
I am a spur fan not a mavs or even nuggets fan
however wanting to watch a good basketball game with one team getting in at 4 am getting to bed at 6 am is silly
have you ever did that and then played pro sports?

Now you've resorted to attacking your own kind... you really are the dumbest person in the world... You rip on Melo for making clutch shots in the regular season, but your baby Dirk hasn't hit any in the regular season or post-season (aside from the Ginobili foul play in Game 7). Melo does have one of the best percentages in last second shots and I think he had at least 8 or 9 game winners last year alone.

Amarelooms has been a big Mavs supporter for over a year now and I think he only has that name because he fears Amare's return to his old self.

I'd like to nominate you for dumbest person in the world. Mainly because you pulled that "I ripped on Melo for clutch shots" out of your ass when I didn't say anything about his clutch shots.

And whay to try to exlude the game 7 shot+foul. That didn't mean anything I don't suppose.

Right. Like the Mavs couldn't beat the Nuggets in a playoff series when both teams get the same amount of days off.

But you did say Dirk was clutch and that Amarelooms was a Suns fan? That's what I thought... I'll exclude that one play because it was more Ginobili's error than Dirk's greatness - you shouldn't be a 7-footer in the NBA if you can't make a 3 inch layup while getting hit. That said, Dirk choked in the 4th quarter of every loss in the Finals to completely override that play.

Secondly, you make a point of discrediting every Suns game/play/shot/1 or 2 defensive stops they have per game, so why shoud I even think of giving the Big Vagina (Dirk, if you didn't know by now) any credit? I give the Dirk of 4 years ago credit for being a good player, but this new flopping, crying, slaps-down-at-the-ball-and-thinks-its-defense Dirk is contributing to the ruination of the league. I can't believe that he complained to the refs when he slapped the out of Rasheed Wallace at the end of that game last week and then proceeded to out on a 3 pt attempt from the corner... real clutch (kind of like every time he blamed his teammates for a loss in the playoffs prior to 2006).

Now, if the Suns get to 12 in a row like your precious Mavs (Suns play 4 b2b games during that stretch), I doubt you'll even give them credit and proceed to say that somehow the Mavs streak was more impressive because they won in SA and forget that the Mavs had over half those games at home. And all of that will somehow prove that the Mavs are "arguably" the best team in the West despite being 3rd in their division, 5th in the West, and have had the most games at home in the Western Conference (along with division leaders Utah and LA) at 11.

kind of how the spurs got lucky playing golden state without jason richardson...and they might get lucky again if kobe doesn't play...get the outta here with that soft . if the suns can play the equivalent of nearly five quarters with all the starters staying until the end, then go and pound the outta the celtics the next night, there's no excuse for the younger nuggets team...just cuz spurs suck on BTBs doesn't mean all teams suck on BTBs

Do you realize the in argument is the clutchness?

Obviously I'd pick Dirk over Melo, but the fact stands... Melo is more clutch.
I understand the difference and of course, I agree with this...Melo may be more clutch but I'd rather have Dirk...then you don't need to be so clutch if you can distance yourself from the opposing team so that being clutch isn't even a factor.

    r u kidding me?

The NUGGETS sucked in the playoffs last season. Melo sucked coz his teammates couldnt hit the side of a barn and he was triple teamed, what do u expect him to do? He passed it, they missed. He shot it with 3 people on him, he missed.

Dirk wouldnt hit much if he had 3 people all over him for the playoffs. He doesnt have to worry about that coz he has Terry and Howard hitting J's.

These playoffs will be different. JR will help spread the floor and Yakhoube is heating up as well.

And thank goodness there are no b2b games in the playoffs

    tonight meant nothing.

The Nuggets were flat from the start and then they started finding out what the Spurs have been saying all along. You cant beat Dallas in Dallas if the refs wanna get involved

Melo got 2 freakin freethrows and there were at last 8 times he got hacked under the basket and no call. Dirk on the other hand gets 10 ft's for falling over.

One play there was 3 seconds left on the shotclock after the ball was tipped out. What did they do? they reset the shotslock

Yeah the refs really like the Mavs last night...I mean, they went to the line more times than did the Nuggets...oh wait, no they didn't!!! So which is it, the refs or your flat start? Pick one lame excuse and stick with it.

Nuggets got screwed by both, whats ur point?

Mavs fans run off 100 excuses when they lose, why should anyone else be different?

I never make excuses, especially when it comes to ing about refs, that's so ing lame. I may criticize the Mavs for not getting back on D, for standing around on offense and taking too many jumpers, but blaming it on btbs and refs is lame. The refs weren't bad at all last night, your guys went to the line more than we did, and we got called for softy like traveling (Harris) and 3 secs (Dirk). Look at our BTB record, it's great so what's your real excuse? Take a look at Melo's 8-26 shooting for starters. The guys probably slept a full 7-8 hours until noon and then ate something before doing some light practicing. Your excuses are weak, especially when a guy like Nash can bring it two nights in a row and kick some ass...how old is he compared to 'Melo?

People who generalize about a team's fanbase are idiots.

Shut the up you argument-changing piece of ... "Mavs are arguably the best team in the West" is one of your catchphrases... you act like Anthony Johnson, Devean George, and Austin Croshere are franchise-changing players every time you post on here.

Dirk will never lead (I use the term "lead" very loosely because his idea of leading is by yelling at all of his teammates) a team to a championship because he doesn't have any killer instinct beyond killing the quality of the league by flopping/yelling/anti-semitism (yeah, I said it - he's a Nazi)/Hasselhoff loving at any sign of contact. It saddens me everytime Nash says they're still friends.

You act like every team has to "go through" the Mavs to get to the championship... next time someone has to go through the 6th-ranked team in the West, let me know. Your team has been blown out more times than I can count (2 - since I'm drunk) by teams such as the Clippers and Utah. They aren't built for the long haul and no one things Dampier will continue this attempt at actual basketball skill.

You have no basis for half of your arguments on here (Mavs #1, Dirk is an MVP, Jason Terry - the guy who couldn't beat Edjuardo Najera and Oklahoma at HOME in the NCAA Tournament - is a clutch player) and you're pretty much the dumbest Mavs homer I've ever read in my entire life, much less seen at a College Station bar. Fungus such as you is spreading across the entire northern part of Texas, and also acting like Dallas isn't the biggest hole in America. Go yourself and your sister/mom/grandma again...

I'm sorry that I don't frequent your ty attempt at a message board called "Mavtalk" (I'm not being homer - the Suns message boards suck too, which is why I post on here), so I only base my opinions off Amarelooms's posts on here and his allegiance to the Mavs as indicated under his avitar.
