    Two words: Josh Howard.

The very player the Spurs chose not to draft in 2003. Instead trading out of the round - dumb asses!
Wow, and Howard is EXACTLY what the Spurs need.

why do you think we got rid of him. basically cause we were paying 15 milliion for a ty SG. but he averaged around 15 ppg his last season here. so i have no hard feelings to him.

You aint gotta tell me. I watched his skills decline and I listened to all the roasting Finley received over the local Dallas talk show radio circuit. He simply no longer justified his Max salary.

Now his play doesn't justify him even taking up a roster spot.

i'm glad people are finally realizing this. this player is garbage and needs to be gotten rid of. problem is, aftet games like this, he has already reveled himself as a has-been and we will not get anything of value in return.

actually this is the last year that cuban stands to "lose" money...throughout the last 4 years, he has only lost money by owning the team. Think Finley, Bradley, Abdul-Wahad, Christie, and like 2 other guys. This is their last year on the payroll Next year though, he plans to actually start gaining money

I don't get it. If keeps trying to have one of the best teams in the L by paying top dollar for players like Dampier, Walker, or whoever is the latest FA he'll continue to incur massive luxury tax. As he actually made a commitment to be more fiscally conservative ala Spurs in the future? Or is he hoping to not make any mistakes on future players contracts?
