I don't get why you all think they're ugly or gay. Mabe it's cause you all are old and rock Hushpuppies.
there are much better colors in that kind of shoe - the white/green ones and the black/brown/grey ones look great. all of those except the light blue/yellow/white ones in the back are hideous.

I have a couple of pairs of Dunks. They aren't close to a pair of AF1's though. Particuly the SB versions.

I like some of the brown ones and I like some of the blue ones. The pink ones are a bit much though.
Looking from left to right ...
The first 3 pairs in the back row are decent.
In the middle row, I don't think the 4th and last ones are that bad, but a little "blah".
In the front row, I actually like the 3 pairs on the right - but those are the ones I said you'd have to be cool to pull off. A nerd like Fillmoe can't be wearing them outside of his bedroom.
I like the same ones you do in the top 2 rows, but I'm not sure I think anything in the bottom row is wearable. I kinda think the pink and brown ones would go with some things, but man it'd be hard to pull it off.
The 3 in the back left corner look like AF1's. Is SB a kind of AF1? I should know, but I don't.
I don't get it.
