Living in Colorado for so long, I'm required to dislike everything California.

Of course I was also required to hate everything Texas and I ended up moving here. D'Oh.
...we can't all be JGW. however, understanding the greatness of USC is a start; i'll settle for that....that or admitting A&M is the most tradition rich program.

A&M is indeed a tradition rich program. However, their tradition consists of winning a national championship more then half a century ago. Furthering the tradition is the singing of the stupid ing fight song at every Aggie wedding I go to. And rounding out the tradition is designing the dumbest ing road system in the history of the world all throughout the state of Texas.

I work with far too many Aggies for me to like A&M.

tradition isn't just winning football games, its camaraderie and everything that goes into athletic and school support. A&M is by far, imo, the greatest in these areas.

    I knew that was coming.

no, what you said is not. you said a majority of the 3rd decks were empty....while that was never the case.

btw, the only reason, and i would know, many loyal Aggs have held back some the past 3-4 years is b/c they hate Fran...and while i would still go to the games whether i liked him or not, its hard to blame him. he brought disgrace for 2 years to a once proud program.
yep. that kept me from going.

Not sure if you are aware but when that poll came out there was a link on some aggy message board to vote for the aggies. I don't think anyone in New York and Los Angeles knows about aggy traditions.

wow, maybe it is highly skewed then....oh well. i still stand by what i said about tradition, fans, and mascot. most people seem to love those about A&M.

While most College fans know about the 12th man at A&M, I'd say that few outside the big 12 know about the fan friendliness (when asked what school has the most friendly fans, you will hear Nebraska more often than A&M from someone completely outside Big 12 country), and even fewer know about A&M's mascot, a dog. Most fans could tell you USC has a Trojan, KU has a Jayhawk, Navy has a goat...but I'd say less than 10% could properly name a dog as being the Aggie mascot.

fan friendliness i'll give you. but as for Reveille, when i was living in California and going to school @ USC and CLU, almost everyone knew about A&M's mascot. i you not...

edit: especially girls, whom all seem to love that collie.
