You had to bring that up. What's next the Frank Reich comeback?
FC DALLAS BABY! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
You had to bring that up. What's next the Frank Reich comeback?
- Nah, that one hurt me too because I wanted the Oilers to lose to the Cowboys in Superbowl XXVII. Instead, we had to settle for smacking the Bills around.
I would turn a cold shoulder to the NBA, just the thought of this thread makes me feel ill
May God damn Frank Reich and let him burn in fiery for all eternity!!!
And screw you for bringing it up!!
Sort of on the subject, I was thinking the other day about Timmy and when they retire his jersey.
I wonder what his ceremony will be like. Tim is such a no fuss guy; I hope he lets the city go all out for him though.![]()
All of you would root for the Blazers and YOU KNOW IT!

If the Spurs moved, I would follow them, wherever they go! The only other option for me would be the Wizards, because I am from DC.
If the Spurs moving was also coupled by the immediate retirement/trading/or restricted free agency of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Bruce Bowen all at once then I would likely move on. Although, if the team were moved to Austin or some other local city then I would likely remain a fan. But if they became (for instance) the Vancouver Spurs or the Las Vegas Spurs then I would have to cheer for the Hornets alone.
The Anaheim Spurs. yuk
You mean the "Los Angeles Spurs of Anaheim"

If you grew up with them...yes. They would no longer be the San Antonio Spurs.I'd always follow them, regardless of where they are located. Could you Spurs fans now really just drop all affilation just because they'd be out of state
That is the appeal to a lot of us.
I have bled silver and black as true and as long and as passionately as anyone here...my answer remains the same.Is there another possible answer for a true silver and black bleeder?
When a team came back here, that would be my team.
OK. If the spurs left, they would take the spurs name with them. What would be the name of the newcomers?
Spurs and Rockets
ing Oilers. That hurt me more than the ing .4. Maybe not more but as much.
Very, very true!.....I remember when they were just beginning to turn things around right after the Moon Era, with Steve McNair and Eddie George. Then the ONE YARD FALLOUT...that was tough...maybe not as bad as .04, but still pulls in a close 2nd or 3rd.
The San Antonio ROUGH RIDERS.....![]()
spurs no matter what, better or for worse GO SPURS GO but if they were just wipped out as an nba team for some reason..i would go for the rockets..possibly the raptors or nets.

I'd only root for another team if the Spurs franchise was turned into something incredibly different (new name, new city, new players), and even then I'd probably be a fan of that new team, if not, Rockets for sure.
How about the Dallas Spurs. Could you root for that? A new 2 team town?
I'd follow this team. San Antonio isn't hungry for championships anymore, anways.
