Mavs showed how different they are from last year. they got key stops and made scores. good game by the heat they wanted it bad.
It's kind of sad that Miami probably played their best game of the year, were at home, got the benefit of a lot of calls, and still lost.
Anyone can win at home. Remember, last game the Mavs crushed the Lakers. Winning on the road is never easy...but the Mavs won. The end.
Don't get to ahead of yourself. This is remeniscent of the Pistons from last year. They looked unbeatable...but while it seems similar, I must say, Avery is a much better coach then Flip Saunders.This team is something else I swear! Just give us the ing trophy why dont you!

I wouldnt say they looked unbeatable by any stretch of the imagination. they played in the East. if the Mavs or Spurs were in the East last year, they probably would have won 70 games.

took them out again without shaq and it took an awesome 4th
quarter performance by Crackhouse to get the mavs the win.

I didn't watch the whole game- too painful- so that must be how I missed the greatness that is the Heat.
Every time I checked the Heat were throwing up ill advised shots and completely neglecting to go for the offensive rebound.
Then when the game was finally tied, they got super sloppy on defense.
Seriously, you're down three in the final seconds and you give the Mavs the and one opportunity.
How was this the Heat's best game? I don't think they ever lead.
Did you hear the fans boo Walker when he got taken out of the game late in the 4th after 3 awful possessions, yet typical Walker possessions. Loved the step back 3 Walk
The biggest difference is that last part of your post from the two teams. Hopefully Avery keeps them focused at the task at hand.

If there is such a thing, it was probably a "good" loss for the Heat. You guys played much better than your record would indicate. Just a few missed free throws and being stupid enough to let Walker touch the ball in the last 3 minutes. Mavs played really hard the whole game. In fact, it was the first time in awhile that Mavs played that hard from the start. So it's not like the Mavs played poorly or anything.
I still think you guys are the team to beat assuming that Shaq stays healthy after he decides to come back.
