Spurs will move Williams in a deal like Williams + cash + a 2nd round pick for Walter Hermann.
Rockets have done the same move with Hornets last year with Moochie Norris.
Possilby. To dismiss the trade potential out of hand shows a distinct lack of imagination.

I think he should atleast get a shot to see how he handles the pressure and to see where exactly he is at as NBA player....... Otherwise there is no point in calling him up and sending him back down over and over......... Put him in see what hes made of and if he does good reward him with minutes and if he does bad bench him until your getting blown out or up by 30.........
It's a good reason. RRT is an important moment for the team.
Practice. We're talking about practice.Otherwise there is no point in calling him up and sending him back down over and over.
As far as the effect on the Toros, I'm not quite as worried as I would've been before they traded for Cheyne Gadson. He does a really nice job at the point and will allow Troy Bell to play offguard for many stretches. We won't have alot of defense but there's a ton of scoring potential running Gadson, Bell and BJ Elder at the same time. Justin Bowen's play has been really nice off the bench and he deserves more time to develop as a traditional small forward. We also have Kris Clack returning from injury and Jamar Smith who can play the 3 if needed.

What a great day for whomever gets traded -- he not only gets traded, he gets insulted on the way out.
At least White has been getting some playing time in and apparently has done pretty well. Playing time is important for White to hone skills and develop basketball IQ.
But you know there is going to be a lot of unreasonable howls from the clueless to 'play him against Marion and see what happens."

I Really Think The Spurs Should Play Him This Time. With The League Getting Younger And Faster I Think It Would Help Out This Team. I'm Not Saying Playing Him Against The Suns Or Anything Like That. But Man, This Guy Has Incredible Athletic Ability And He Really Doesn't Need To Put The Game On His Shoulders, All He Has To Do Is Help Us Out. He Just Might Be What We're Missing...maybe. Well That And A Back Up Point Guard. I Don't Care What Anyone Says, Beno Sucks. He Has Had His Chance Over And Over Again And Hasn't Produced Anything!
Have you seen him play this season?
I have. I'm asking who else has.
what have u seen from this savior?????
Does anybody read the update threads?
It has now been confirmed...Pop reads my posts and has come around. White will play. That is all.
Who is the next ty team we play, dont see any reason he couldnt play against a team
Atkins is not a ball-distributor. We need someone like Marquis Daniels who could create plays and play defense
Marquis isnt a point, we cant get him, and Atkins is averaging about 5 assists a game this year with limited playing time, and no scorers on his team
I'm not saying they Wouldn't trade him- I am saying that Couldn't trade him given their stipulations for what they want back. To cut payroll, just buy him out and give up nothing to anyone.
If you agreed with my point there's no reason to repeat it.

And in spurs he would not have limited minutes![]()
If you are going to quote someone, at least post the entire sentence and not cut if off.
I don't see any team helping them get below the luxury tax so they WON'T trade him. Of course they WOULD trade him for Luke Walton, but I just don't see that happening.I am saying that Couldn't trade him given their stipulations for what they want back.
What does that mean?
Your lack of imagination is duly noted.I don't see any team helping them
