Can he be saved? Hmmn.
Did he comment this way during the 2005 playoffs when Spurs ran the Suns off the court?
Or did his Suns leanings and full blown orientation have it's initial seeds in the 2006 playoff season of discontent?
, if Spur fans can stick with them the year before we got Duncan, then we can stick with them through anything

Bandwagoners dont deserve to be saved... they are the s of the sports world.
All a bandwagoner is is someone who cant win for themselves so they latch on to those that can, they have no sports morals or sports dignity... shoving a basketball up his ass wouldnt be punishment enough.
Face it, he is no longer your brother, excommunicate his ass from the family fold.
j/k of course, ya he's a flaming for switching but its just a game.
bandwagoning at its purest
Ask him if he likes the Suns after we beat them on their home floor tomorrow night.

Dude, I am a huge Michael Jordan fan, but not really a Bulls fan. I like Vince Carter and love to watch him play, but not really a Nets fan... So it, at least it wasn't the mavs or the rockets.
Your brother-in-law essentially is trying to trade in his old car for a new model. For a true fan, it doesn't work that way. The team you ride with, is the team you die with.
Dude was never a true fan to begin with. Time to introduce legislation to have him defrocked and excommunicated.
Dude your brother in law just broke the man rules. Only teenage girls switch up on things they like. A real fan rides it out through the good years and bad.
Sounds like he was never really a Spurs fan to begin with, and was just passing for one in order to get in good with your family.
Is your family wealthy? Did your sis sign a pre-nup?![]()
You make an excellent point. Is he going to dump my sister when someone hotter comes along? I mean, he was with the Spurs ... 29 years? I'm sure he won't, out of fear. Not of me, but of my sister. She would have his hide.
I feel sorry for him.
Tell him to kiss my a## and go ahead and become a Suns fan.
Freaking bandwagon hopper.
my little nephew bailed on the spurs when the mavs beat them in seven games...he went through some transformation over the summertime and at the start of the season he picked the suns....his entire family roots for the spurs and all last year he would not stfu about the spurs/mavs matchups. i think the kid's learning bad habits because he only wants to be with the team that wins, he'd probably bail on the suns if the mavs beat them this year (he hates the mavs even though he *tries* to act sincere when my bf and i show up because his mom makes him)
i think when choosing teams to root for, it doesn't have to be your home team....my brother gew up cheering on the pistons back in the day and that's his team through thick and thin
OK here's the real deal answer. No kidding around.
There are two possible explanations. Or maybe it's a combination of both.
1) Your brother-in-law does not understand that sports is not like entertainment where you can just jump to someone new who comes along. Sports is like life where allegiance and loyalty are important. In other words, your brother-in-law is not a man.
2) Your brother-in-law is a jackass who is doing this just to jack around with his wife and her family. He's a nasty, manipulative sonova .
I'd have to eliminate #1. He watches alot of sports, probably too much. ESPN is on all the time at their house. And there's nothing wrong with that. Sports on TV is a good thing. I just think he gets nutty ideas from some of the talking heads on the networks.
I'd lean towards #2. He is known for jerking people around, and I've wondered if he seriously believes his conspiracy theories about the Illuminati, Skull & Bones, the Masons, or "Bush Planned 9/11," or whether he's just messing with people.
But I think he's serious about the Suns (for now).
Sir, I'm sorry to have to break this to you.
But your brother in law is a ING PRICK, A BAG PIECE OF , A MISERABLE, TOTALLY WORTHLESS S SUCKING ASSHOLE.
Signed,
Your loving sister
Sis, I told you about him. He's a real douchbag. So when are you coming home?
Damn, you caught them right at the peak.
Has your sister notices any of these changes in the past year:
1. He's paying more attention to his clothes.
2. Has started a workout regimen to 'lose a few pounds'
3. Traded in his pickup for a convertible or sports car.
4. Uses men's cologne regularly now
5. any other changes in long time habits
Add any two of the above to his change in affection from the Spurs to the Suns and she should see a divorce lawyer immediately.
He's been 1-4 all the time I've known him. In fact, I'm sure he's a flaming metro. And my sister won't divorce him -- she has all the power in that marriage.
