    I'll be rooting for the Spurs, not because I'm a Mavs and I hate the Suns, but more because despite what the records show, if the SAS can find it's old self, Spurs are a more worthy opponent than the Suns, and I have great respect for the Spurs! I guess I'm a closet SAS fan

    I'm confused with all these Mavs fans cheering FOR us.

    I wonder if we should root against the Spurs since we're somehow indirectly helping the Mavs out.

    I'm not super confident, but I'm not really worried either. The most important thing is for the Spurs to come out and continue their recent play - win or lose.

    Eh, for me it's not the first time. I rooted for the Spurs during the Spurs/Lakers series a couple of years ago. At least for me, it's not so much about the overall record between the Suns/Mavs as that I think it would be funny to see the Suns win all these games, even get first in the conference and still not be able to beat the Mavs, Spurs, Lakers, Jazz (although they might beat a Boozerless team on Sat.). Anyway, how could you ever root against your own team? That's ridiculous.

    I'd like to watch this game closely i think i won't participate in this blog until the end of the game.

    i want to see if the Suns got what it takes to beat the Spurs this time or win a le being the # in the West. We are 22-4 against them if I'm not mistaken.

    be kind to Duncan Spurs fans

    I couldnt ever. Although there are some boring games where you at least want the opponent to challenge the Spurs and make the game interesting. But that was back in the days when the Spurs were really good.

    back then i used to root for a comeback sometimes for the other team when theyre gettin blown out cause i wanted duncan to have a better stat line. i never wanted them to lose it though.
