    I also like Yan Can Cook, but he's on PBS. We're not too convinced his accent is real.
    Yan Can Cook is the guy from that restaurant on Melrose in LA, right?

    ming also has a show on PBS called simply ming.
    , I'll have to look for that. I used to watch him on the Food Network all the time, and now that he's only on Fine Living I forget to watch. Ming Tsai ing rocks.

    His food/travel show has got to be the best job ever. The two episodes I've seen have had him going to Hawaii and the Bahamas.

    I believe that's the same guy. He used to be a chef at this restaurant on Melrose before he had his YanCan restaurants I think.

    We used to watch him a lot when we lived in SF. Every so often that American accent would come out.

    it's not quite as exciting as ming's quest, but i enjoy it. this is more of an in-studio thing - he has a base sauce/salsa/flavor he uses in each episode and a guest chef comes in near the end for their variation using his base.
