That sucks. The Lakers would have to give up a good player for that to happen in the offseason. He'll make 9.4million next season and the Lakers wont have the expiring contracts other than Kwame's to work with.
From what I'm hearing is that the Sixers are content to keep him till the end of the year and see how much they can get for him in the offseason. He should be worth more when teams don't have to worry about plugging him in midway through the season.

Yeah it's a smart move by the Sixers. So unless somebody is giving away a PG for expirings and picks/a young player or Steve Francis gets bought out, then I don't see the Lakers getting a PG before the year is over. Next year Kwame will be an expiring contract. It's up to him and how he performs at the end of the year and in the playoffs, that is gonna decide what happens with him. Also depends on how Bynum plays. He's still very young.
And another loss for the Lakers. This game was not due to needing a PG, it was that injuries are starting to kill us. Kwame and Luke would have been great for us today.
Injuries have been killing us all year. We get one starter back then lose another. Odoms still playing his way into shape. He's about 70% of the player he was before injury. The Lakers are starting to look like the Rockets of last season.
