If they're still playing like this in the middle of March then I am going to get really worried. Right now, I'm not that worried.
There are other factors in these losses that we aren't taking into account: 1. Miami hasn't shot 57% more than a couple of times this year. 2. Kapono won't get a total of 11 rebounds in any 4 or 5 games bunched together. 3. Shaq completely deflated TD with his aggressive pushing, shoving, elbowing, and daring the refs to call a foul in their home court. He did the same to Oberto. Tim was completely depressed about those non-calls. What he should have done is what a Kobe, Garnett or some other emotional player does, get pissed and aggressive himself, something he has never done and never will. Barry said it best, Howard nor the Magic will win a game like that in 10 to 15 years.
The Spurs CAN BE the Spurs we saw in Washington and for the most part in Orlando and Miami. The players will tell you: They haven't given up even though their fans have.
I look at this way: Hah! Got where we wan'em. Overconfident! Come April, we'll make our move!
Hey! Gotta be be positive. If it doesn't pan out, we'll wait till next year.
It's still only a game. There are much more serious things occurring around the world.

I wasn't really talking about this RRT, and I suppose that with a moment to reflect on my statement, I'm not sure entirely what I meant by my statement concerning "inferior teams."
Ultimately, the point that I was trying to make is that the schedule is pretty favorable after Wednesday, so if the Spurs are going to get on one of those end-of-season runs that might propel them into the playoffs, it's there for them to do it -- at least recordwise.
I totally agree with you on your primary point!
I hear what you're saying...
What I'm saying is that I don't believe every Spur is giving 110% now, and I don't automatically assume everyone will give 110% when playoffs come around, like someone flipped the switch. I'm not saying it won't happen, I'm saying I don't count on it happening.
What I would like to see is every Spur giving 110% now, and that effort becoming habitual so that it's not even a question of whether or not they'll "flip the switch".
Bottom Line: The "light" should already be on!
Yeah, well maybe just the Big Three and Bowen.
I don't know.....but when we get home from this road trip, I'm thinking of toilet-papering Brent's house.....with Charmin.
If the fans should ever wake up to see the FO screw up of drafting euro players and keeping them overseas (because ownership is to cheap to bring in youth around Duncan), then maybe a boycott of games to send Holt, et al., a message will have an effect.
Looking at the le teams over the last 20 years, the only ones with a superstar C or PF were Lakers (and they had Magic), Rockets and Spurs (Shaq with Heat needed Wade). All others had superstar PG, SG or SF. Unless Parker can hit a pick and roll jumper (like KJ, Kevin Johnson, could), he is no good to us. Trade him for a superstar PG, SG or SF. That's the trend these days.
Its hard to describe the feelings for this team.
Its hard to get mad at them for trying, when they aren't really that good.
Bonner coming back will help, but how much?
You want to give up on Horry, but then again, Horry looked like this two years ago.
You want to say Finley is , but again, er did it last year and stepped up huge in the playoffs.
I don't know.
I can't say its the worst team, cause IMO, the 01 02 team was worse than this.
So trade Parker before he develops that shot.
Got it.
