Dude the Spurs franchise history is waaaaaaaaaaaay different then the mavs.
I don't know why some of you guys use that as a gauge to measure up the two teams.
And how else would you like to do so? Oh yeah, the only way that makes the Spurs out to be so much better. You measure franchise success by franchise success. Thats all I was doing. Apparently, thats wrong. I don't get some of you Spurs fans. It was a simple question which no one would answer but yet everyone was quick to put every last detail of the Mavs franchise up. Makes no sense to me.
Everyone was making a big deal about how we have been in exitence for 26 years with no les. I only wanted to know how that stacked up against other franchises with les. Thats it...but no one wanted to step up and answer so I did it myself and the difference wasn't so big. Take it for what is worth but when the thread le says 26 years 0 les...here is what the one about the Spurs would have said: 23 years 0 les. See, not that big of a difference in that regard.

Exactly, but comparing how many years it took for a team to win a championship is not the way to do it.
I don't think he was really referencing the fact that since the mavs have existed that they have no les(although I think that's one thing the thread starter wanted to rub in). I think the point he was trying to get across was that since they've existed they haven't enjoyed any success. That's why he posted the teams history.
Its funny how Spurs fans brag that the Spurs won 3 championships with the only professional team they have. They better be good...or your city would suck even worse than it does now.
