The Cotton Bowl should be great this year... either A&M or UT against either Tenn. or UGA.
all is moot anyway...cause A&M is going to win in Austin.![]()
The Cotton Bowl should be great this year... either A&M or UT against either Tenn. or UGA.
The Aggie insiders say that the Cotton wants A&M - LSU if it can get it.
To reflect on Tech, it's because of all the BS that has happened in that series in the past. Bad officiating calls, two or three occassions where a player had the game of his life against us, was ruled ineligible the week after, like that.
As a result of a bull call way back in the day the SWC actually ins uted a rule that alumni couldn't ref their school's game, after a Tech alum screwed us over.
Back in '94 or so, A&M won at the buzzer in a bball game, and several of their fans rushed out of the bleachers and started a fight with our team on the way out.
It was revisited about 5 years ago when A&M beat Tech in hoops in a similar manner, where the Tech fans didn't feel the shot should have counted. The Tech AD actually got the refs out of the locker room, wouldn't let them leave, and insisted they use TV replay to review A&M's last shot (which slow mo showed was .1 after the buzzer), problem was that was illegal by NCAA rules at the time.
It all spilled over three years ago when Tech fans won (A&M was ranked #23) and considered it so great an upset that they had to rip down their goalpost and dump it in the A&M fan section (and then their AD ended up blaming everything that happened on the A&M fans).
Two years ago in Aggieland, they spray painted several buildings and statues with the double TT , that was completely uncalled for.
Then last year Leach was throwing for the end zone at the final gun in the football game, already up 30.
Add all of that on to the fact that pretty much everyone there is someone who couldn't get into tu or A&M, and yeah, well there's some history there.
Actually,
I think that was the A&M-Arkansas game in 1989. A phantom pass interference call sustained a 'Hog drive and the ensuing score lost us the game and kept us from winning the SWC and picking Cotton that year.
I remember that, that was my first A&M I ever attended, I was like 10 and we drove down from Denver(where my folks were stationed at the time). To this day i remember being in awe that my dad, c/o of '73, still remembered the words to all the songs and all the yells.(bear in mind, I was 10 and didn't know what it meant to be an Ag)
That was probably the weekend that I knew that no matter what, i was going to go to A&M.
Man...you can be such a pussy sometimes. Get over it man. I've never seen anyone so bitter over sports...and then add to the fact that you insult the people who attend the school is even more sad, and pathetic.
Yeah but when you make the picture larger....he is less bitter!![]()

That makes no sense.
actually giving what you have posted of late...it makes perfect sense.
Hey dumbass, people were asking in this thread why the hate for Tech, I just explained it.Man...you can be such a pussy sometimes
And even if that made me a pussy this time, it's better than being one all the time.
you have one team and you are loyal to it, AHF. Yeah makes you a real pussy.![]()
Duff is just a bitter longhorn lover, who probably is dealing with the realization that Mack Brown's window for winning a damn thing in this conference is about to get shut.
I just think it's comical that a poser who didn't go to any of the schools in question is trying to talk some weak Alamo Community College District smack.
actually according to him he likes OU and Nebraska which could explain a few things. I like the Longhorns and I hope to Mack Brown's window is closing...I will help shut it if I have to.
I'm not a fan of the Longhorns nor am I trying to post smack about the school I go to. I just think you're a pussy for letting stupid juvenile get to you.
And then respond with something as classless as saying people who go to Tech are just people that couldn't make it into UT or A&M.
Who says I let it get to me? I was just explaining the Aggie perspective. Newsflash man, all college rivalries, all sports rivalries, are generally grounded in stupid juvenile .
It's like when our guys can't hit a bucket in the playoffs and we take it out on LA by hating, calling Kobe and Shaq names, etc. It's a rivalry dumbass, get over it.
Yeah, it's a stereotype, but it's about 95% accurate. The other five people are the desperate frat daddies who just went because they knew it'd be easy to get some ass up there. And then respond with something as classless as saying people who go to Tech are just people that couldn't make it into UT or A&M.
well, its more like 90% AHF, you forgot the 5% who actually like sand and no trees.
