Basketball GTG - Just brainstorming in this thread.

I can't count how many nails I've lost. As a matter of fact I'm loosing one right now , but you shouldn't stand still when someone drives on you. Were you taking a charge ?

i was playing defense normally... he was trying to drive by me and i was moving laterally. he probably thought that since he couldnt go around me.. he'd go through me and his right foot hit my left foot with full force.


i just got back from the court... it's not bad... next time i go i'll get pics.

it has a slight incline... but nothing to really complain about... it was pretty breezy today so i couldnt really gauge my long ball that much. the rims were a bit unforgiving... rarely would the ball roll in ... if it's not hitting all net... chances are it's a miss. it might have been that my ball had a bit too many psi ... but it's probably a combination of the rim and the ball. place was dead empty today, and i'd reckon the only times it would be busy would be the 2-3 hours after the elementary down the street gets out and probably the weekend.

i used to go to OP schnabel all the time... to play soccer and football when i was a kid... it used to be just a bunch of fields encompassed by woods... now they fixed it all up and i dont know where anything is anymore.

I've played there a few times. Its nice a shady but I used to love going down to Rimkus and playing on those 9 foot rims

lmao... im picky with my rims... i always think that if i shoot on 9 foot rims i'll up my mechanics...

i also wont touch double rims.

hopefully next time out i can get my touch back. i probably only made about 10% of my shots but that's to be expected since i havent picked up a basketball in ... almost a ing year... damn.

I cut down on the arc of my shot and i had better results. also, i over inflated both of my balls... i need let some air out of em. ones a NBA street ball and the other is the indoor/outdoor one. the bounces were long and since it's so damn dry you can't really get a good grip on the ball.

i know these sound like excuses... but they really do make a difference.

today would have been perfect for me to shoot around since it's not as windy as yesterday ... but i'm gonna be busy in about an hour. hopefully everyone can get something set up soon.
