    The tune up starts. The playoffs are still afar, but the Spurs will start making statements. Asskicking about to happen tonight and its gonna be handed to the Nuggs.

    PREGAME

    San Antonio fans get a chance to see the newest Spur and NBA star Allen Iverson in his newest uniform tonight when the Spurs finally play on their home court. The Spurs play their first game since the eight-game rodeo road trip when they take on the Denver Nuggets at 7 p.m. Bonner had been out with a knee injury.

    As fans started filing into the AT&T Center, new Spur Melvin Ely was running laps along one of the sidelines. Ely was not active for the game. Instead, Matt Bonner returned to the active lineup.

    Iverson, assuming his sore right ankle is healthy enough, should make his 20th start as a member of the Nuggets.
