Vegas Odds for Winning Championship

On Bodog the Spurs are 7/1 right now.

Dallas 2/1
Phoenix 9/4
Pistons 5/1

I like the Pistons bet myself. If Wade is out I don't think the Pistons will have too much trouble getting to the finals. The Western Conference teams may beat on each other like last year and the Pistons slide in rested and ready.

I am going down to vegas for March madness next month so I might check on the odds at that time and place my appropriate bet. Although every time I go to Vegas I say I am going to bet on something that won't pay off until I leave, and I never do.

I like the Pistons bet as well. It seems to me to be the best bet right now considering the odds. Obviously, I want the Mavs to win the le but 2/1 odds are not good for winning a NBA le (especially for a team that has never done it before).

I remember the days of 15-1. Those days, Dave's back had a condition, the Lakers looked too dominant, and no one thought that an Argentine cager coming from Italy would do much.

I MISS THOSE DAYS...Most especially, I miss that type of payout.

i have finding variations of the line. one i saw had spurs 7-1. another 3-1, another at 2-1.
