You mean Kris Newbury? He hit his head on the ice when he fell. I agree that it was spooky, though. I don't think there should be fighting in hockey, but it's a cultural thing that the hockey community claims to understand. As a basketball fan I'd certainly hate to see fighting become the least bit accepted by the fans or the organizations. If people want to claim it's racist, fine, as long as it doesn't happen.

Five foot tall French-Canadians can't generate enough force to do any real damage once they drop their sticks. Basketball players are the biggest athletes in the world. Just ask Rudy T what they can do.

hockey is known for being violent and the fans love it besides look at all the protection they wear, sure you can still get hurt but its the way the sport is and happens some times (Newbury's head smashing off the ice after he got knocked down)
