the procedure did not take as long as expected.

they took out the C1 vertebrae and part of C2 but filled it in with a collagen implant.

she is doing very good and hopefully recovery time is short.

I just wanted to take some time out and thank all of you for your prayers, I try not to get too religious on the message board, but without your prayers and well wishes, I dont think the outcome would be as good.

You guys are like family to me and I just wanted to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart!

My sister had surgery near her brain too this past July. I know the feeling. Its scary to have one of your family members go through that. I pray that God be with her and the surgeons as they perform their work. She'll be fine.
