I like what I'm seeing from Bonner. He is a better spot-up shooter than I realized. He's very agressive on the boards, too.

Do some research before you make that claim. Austin is easily the Mavs 9 or 10th. He's avg over 10minutes a game over the past two weeks. That's exactly the role Bonner plays. He's the Spurs 5th or 6th guy off the bench after Manu, Finley, Vaughn, Horry (some nights), and Oberto.
No. Croshere is about the Mavs 12th man. He's been getting those minutes because 2 guys ahead of him in the rotation (Buckner and George) have been out.

Parker needs 8-10 minutes of rest each game. Vaughn (2nd qtr.) and Udrih (4th qtr.) were both ineffective vs. the Pistons while Tony got a breather. Parker cannot play the whole game. It worked out okay once TP got back in there.

Bonner = 3-pt shooting 6'10" guy so he can take the opposing Big out to the perimeter to open up the interior. A 6'10", good shooting, rebounding, hustling banshee is a good role player to have for spot minutes.

No, Croshere has been moved up the rotation since those guys have been out. Prior to Buckner and George being out, Croshere was the 10th man. Below you will see minutes for al Mavs players this year. The 11th and 12th men for the mavs are any combination of Ager, Barea, Mbenga, or Bonsu (after they traded A. Johnson).

    31 Jason Terry - 35.5 MPG
    41 Dirk Nowitzki - 36.9
    25 Erick Dampier - 25.6
    5 Josh Howard - 35.7
    1 Greg Buckner - 18.0
    34 Devin Harris - 25.9
    42 Jerry Stackhouse - 23.8
    7 DeSagana Diop - 17.0
    40 Devean George - 20.6
    44 Austin Croshere - 11.0
    13 Maurice Ager - 3.8
    11 Jose Barea - 3.7
    28 Didier Ilunga-Mbenga - 3.8
    21 Pops Mensah-Bonsu - 5.1
