if Tyson Chandler was traded to the Suns i have little doubt that he would produce the same if not more than Stoudemire
Yeahhh. I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you there... -Bill Lumbergh

Tyson Chandler can do everything better than Amare except score points. Granted, scoring points is a huge part of the game....but EVERY other aspect of the game, Chandler > Stoudemire.

I kinda wish Dirk hadn't played....it would have been interesting to see them play under a little adversity.

Plus, at this point, any time they can give Dirk a night off, they need to. At least they dismantled them quickly and got JJ and Maurice in there early.

I know he's a rookie and he's not going to be expected to do anything....but 90% of the time Ager is out there, he looks like a guy that really has no business being an NBA player.

"Hey, Maurice Ager, you're an NBA player?"

"Noooo, but i DID stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!"

Hopefully he's gaining good knowlege so that next season he can make some sort of a contribution.

at the holiday inn reference. yeah i agree. did he do all 4 years at michigan state? at least jj and pops don't seem like they get frazzled as much being out on the court, that's good enough for games like this where they just need to close out.

    Stoudemire - 21 pts, 10 rebs, 33 min/gm
    Chandler - 9.5 pts, 12.5 rebs, 35 min/gm

Chandler averages half a block more than Stoudemire per game. You're right. Statistically, Chandler outperforms Stoudemire in most categories. But how often do you see Tyson Chandler demoralize a team? Perhaps you'll recall the last Suns-Mavs game, where Stoudemire couldn't miss a shot in the 4th quarter or overtime. Or the '05 Suns-Spurs series where he averaged like 38 points and 13 rebounds a game. Plus, the guy's recovering from microfracture surgery and continues to improve and develop his game.

Give me Stoudemire over two Tyson Chandlers anyday.

I'll take Amare's explosiveness any day as well. But if Tyson Chandler were to ever get a clue on offense, he'll blow Amare out of the water. Of course that's a big IF....plus there's always a chance that Amare will get a clue on defense too.

Chandler's more physically gifted....but Amare's ability to put the ball in the basket definitely makes him far more valuable right now.

who cares about amare and chandler? amare wouldn't get more than half his shots if it weren't for nash and speculation about chandler is pointless. anyway, mavs should have an easy time tomorrow getting their 60th win playing a bucks team without bogut or villanueva.

I have to disagree with you here on Chandler being more physically gifted than Amare. What about Chandler's game gives you this impression?

Guess you have not noticed that Amare can shoot jumpshots now. I don't think Nash helps him shoot those.

lol, at this suns article i just read about their 20 point win over the grizz...it was the second game of a BTB and d'antoni left his starters in the game until the end...and they won by 20? awesome!

oh yeah, and d'antoni, as spokesman for the team, said that they were out of sync but it had nothing to do with being tired. awesome!
