    False...
The US is the dictatorship you wish it to be? Tell me all about it.
Ok...and what you do you think Iran's reaction is going to be to a couple of cruise missles?
You first -- what exactly do you think this military strike will entail?

Oh really? And the Planet Zoom is the source of all cannibal life in the Universe to you...isn't?

You first -- what exactly do you think this military strike will entail?
Don't know...my points are that the Bush Admin doesn't have to have congressional approval to start something, and that something doesn't have to be much to get a retaliation from Iran, possibly a war declaration...in which case it would be an extremely rare occurence for congress to not give Bush a war declaration, given those cir stances. Not that he needs an official declaration to have a war anyway.

Frankly I'm surprised I have to explain this to you...seem to be nothing more than common sense to me...but then again, I am talking with you...and the first thing to go in an argument with you in which you are backpedaling, is intelligent discourse.

    Meanwhile...Vive La Dictatorship.

So we lob a cruise missile into Iran and pound some sand.

Iran doesn't declare war on us.

Why should they? Contrary to your belief, Bush actually needs the support of congress to do anything significant to Iran. A few bombs will do nothing to that place.

Meanwhile...God bless America and its democratic (small d) government.

No seriously...you need to reconsider that statement.

What exactly do you think the President can or can't do?

And exactly how hard do you think it'd be to provoke that running Iran?

You seriously think Bush wants to start another war next week.

Well he is that $%^#%&^%^# dumb that went into Iraq and now we're getting our asses kicked as we brutally exterminate the innocent Iraqui civillian population[/liberal]

What makes you think he stopped being that same guy?

I'd hazzard a guess that he's got a far different opinion on things foreign than you do.

I'd be willing to be he doesn't regret the decision to go into Iraq, and I'd be willing to bet he'd do it again...and finally, I'd be willing to bet that he doesn't consider this war to be a lost cause as many of the board fools do.

I need to link this thread for you?
Actually you do...a speciffic post if you don't mind.

I think there are more than one s running Iran, and they don't necessarily need to declare open war on the US to with it.

Stalled is more like it. Enough to where he can't do much else.
I'd hazzard a guess that he's got a far different opinion on things foreign than you do.
Sure he does, but he blew his wad already. He squandered all his political capital and international goodwill and much of his available armed forces in Iraq. Who is going to fight in Iran? Who is going to pay for it?
Actually you do...a speciffic post if you don't mind.
Do you want the "nuke Mecca" post of the "Religion of Peace" thread?

Iran has more than tripled its ability to produce enriched uranium in the last three months, adding some 1,000 centrifuges which are used to separate radioactive particles from the raw material.

The development means Iran could have enough material for a nuclear bomb by 2009, sources familiar with the dramatic upgrade tell ABC News.

The sources say the unexpected expansion is taking place at Iran's nuclear enrichment plant outside the city of Natanz, in a hardened facility 70 feet underground.

    ---
The addition of 1,000 new centrifuges, which are not yet operational, means Iran is expanding its enrichment program at a pace much faster than U.S. intelligence experts had predicted.
    ABC News Propaganda

Iran is expanding its enrichment program at a pace much faster than U.S. intelligence experts had predicted."

Umm, let's see here -- Intel right on WMD in Iraq, Judy Miller wrong.
Intel right in warning of 911 attacks, Presidential response wrong.
Intel points out that 911 hijackers came from Saudi Arabia, Adminstration goes after Iraq--Wrong again.

    Anyone see a pattern here?

, even Nancy Pelosi is sending cryptic messages...

Pelosi speech to Knesset warmly received

In her speech at a state dinner held in her honor at the Knesset Sunday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Dem.-CA) vowed to present Israel's case to the leaders of Syria.

Her speech was uniformly supportive of Israel, and she received a standing ovation at the end.

Pelosi spoke emotionally about her meetings with the families of the kidnapped soldiers and dramatically held up the soldiers' dog tags, which she said she displays prominently at her office in Congress and she would bring with her to Damascus.

"I will send a message to the president of Syria from the families of the soldiers and from the Cohen family as well," Pelosi said, noting the presence of the families in the room. "We must counter the terrorists' vision of apocalypse and despair with our own vision of hope. International forces in Lebanon must implement the UN resolution effectively. Hizbullah must be disarmed. Iran must not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon."

I'll be more impressed with Nancy when I see her and her s parading around a typical Syrian Mosque just chillin' with a few dedicated Islamic Clerics...

Go Nancy...show us how it's done.

Then you cna go to Saudi and Iran and show us how it's done.

Produce a few photos of her with some hardline Islamic Clerics and I'll think there's a way other than war to resolve the differences and that she isn't chief useful idiot #1.
