Only one of the injuries done to those PitBulls was done by a PitBull...
The rest were done by the people that own them...
A lot of PitBulls tend to be owned by people who want to fight them...
They do things to make the dogs agressive and bloodthirsty...
Like starving them...and then feeding them small dogs, puppies and kittens after starving them.
If you ever try to find a home for some kittens be careful who you give them to.
And if your small dog or puppy ever turns up missing and wasn't hit by a car..check the house who ever owns a bunch of pitbulls in your area.
I am all for banning the breed if it'll keep the dogs out of the hands of people that do this sort of thing to them...but it won't. Anyone that would do that sort of thing to a dog has got bigger respect issues than any law will stop.
PitBulls are among the most loyal and intelligent dogs that there are...they are the only truly American Dog Breed and they have done some amazingly heroic things that never get publicized.
It's a real shame that people take the dogs natural talents and gifts and pervert them.
Take the dog away and the people that do that will just find another dog to do it with.
Have dogs in your city that are resonsible for a very large ammount of deadly attacks to children.

Where in the did you get these numbers? Last time I checked the official records, golden retrievers accounted for more bites than pit bulls.

hey man blame the owner not the breed, i have 6 and their all my babys, its all how you raise them. what if i say to ban your poodle that you have, you wouldn't like that
Its both the breed and how they are raised. If you train a poodle to fight it will bite people. Pitbulls are guard dogs. Attacking unfamiliar people is in their genetics just like retrievers retrieve frisbies, shepherds herd sheep, and hounds bark.
