    Why do people always want their team to face the suckiest compe ion? I want to play and DEFEAT the best. If that's the Lakers, Suns, Mavs, and Detroit, then so be it.
    That's true. I'd rather face Denver than weak Clippers....

    but, I guess ideally, it's like the same at ude of hoping your team goes for a sweep in the early rounds, because it'll let your odds of staying fresh for the next two rounds go up.

    But yeah, knowing you've had the toughest route on the way to victory does make it much sweeter.

    We're old, we need a break.
    This year's team can win the le...but IMO it's not likely. We're gonna have to get lucky.
    And I'd rather be lucky than good. I'm greedy...I want Tim to win another le to make up for bad breaks like the .04 and Manu's stupid foul.
    After awhile nobody remembers how you got there, it's all about the rings.
    Case in point, MJ's Bulls. They beat some pretty weak compe ion in at least 3 of their championships. Who cares?
