Religious Man by Mr. Loco
I found this at the UGO site. What struck me most is song #7. Anyway, if you wish to read more of the songs, click the link.

THE TOP 11 SPORTS SONGS
Ever since Brian Electric and John Guitar unleashed their "electric guitar" on the world, musicians began stringing together power chords to write odes to their favorite sports. Whether you're into the big ones - baseball, basketball, football and pro wrestling - or something like curling, chances are there's been at least one awesome song associated with the athletic compe ions you love. With this in mind, UGO has obtained, at no small cost, a list of the 11 most noteworthy sports-related songs ever written. There's quite a few '80s hair band songs here, so you might want to put your hairspray goggles on before continuing.
11. John Fogerty - 'Centerfield'
10. Theodore Shapiro & Craig Wedren - 'Higher and Higher'
At first glance, "Higher and Higher" is a Rick Springfield-esque '80s power tune with seemingly unintentionally hilarious lyrics...
9. Rick Derringer 'Real American'
Those of you enlightened souls familiar with professional wrestling will undoubtedly recall Hulk Hogan's patriotic theme song back when the WWF still meant World Wrestling Federation and not World Wildlife Fund...
8. The Lightning Seeds - 'Three Lions'
7. Phoenix - 'Run Run Run'
"Run Run Run" isn't necessarily about a sport per se, but about an important element of many sports: You can't play basketball, football, baseball, really any of the major 'balls' without running, right? Look, you try to find 11 songs about sports that aren't sung by men's glee clubs in stuck-up New England universities - songs such as "Row Me home" and "Let's Hear it for Lacrosse!" to cite two technically imaginary but very realistic-sounding examples.
6. Queen - 'We are the Champions'
There's certain to be a Queen biography out there that details the origins of "We Are the Champions," and if it was conceived as a sports tune or if modern sports culture simply adopted it as such. Either way, the song has indeed become the de facto victory lap for any reigning sports team, or even a celebration of individual scored goals for some of the over-zealous organizations out there (we're talking to you, Milwaukee Admirals). Regardless, there are few things in life that sweeten a victory more than having a scrawny, mustachioed sexual taunt your failed opponent with lyrics like "No time for losers, 'cause we are the champions of the world." It makes winning worth any cost, even at the expense of blocking a slap shot with your eyeballs, to not have this played to you in celebration of your defeat.
5. Joe "Bean" Esposito - 'You're the Best'
In between Mr. Miyagi's wise counsel and Daniel-san's high school hijinx was "You're the Best," sung by a fellow named Joe Esposito...
4. Belle and Sebastian - 'Piazza, New York Catcher'
Not all sports songs have to be testosterone-fueled guitar-fests; there is room in the sports music Hall of Fame for quiet folk tunes such as "Piazza, New York Catcher,"...
3. Sammy Hagar - 'Winner Takes it All'
Considering that this song was written for a movie about arm wrestling, it turned out pretty good...
2. Morrissey - 'Boxers'
Even England's bruised poet, Morrissey, got into the sports-song action with this jovial tale of a boxer who lost a big game in his home town but gets cheered on 'all the same.' Though it seems a little sad in theme, peppy guitars and a terrific Smiths-reminiscent tune keep things thoughtful rather than bitter, although the boxer in the video didn't seem too happy about it. If Rocky had ended with this song, we might have followed our inspiration, and might even now be getting the stuffing pounded out of us by burly athletes. Maybe even eventually in a boxing ring!
1. Survivor - 'Eye of the Tiger'
The rumor that this song came stock with 1982 Camaros was totally untrue...we think. "Eye of the Tiger" was that rare sports anthem with crossover appeal, and has been a regular staple of big-haired radio channels ever since. With mention of 'the thrill of the fight' and the importance of 'rising up to the challenge of your rival,' the song is the perfect combination of '80s hard rock cheesiness and legitimate motivation. Boxing has been on the wane lately, but this tune is still good for a pretty vigorous workout soundtrack on the treadmill.
Sonic Youth - Teenage Riot
The Denver player intros should be done to Hit me baby one more time.

Good suggestions. "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" would be perfect for the Nugs, as that's what they'll be doing after Game 1.
"When Worlds Collide" would be perfectly symbolic for the series against the Suns.
As for the Mavs, if/when we make it to the WCF, I'm undecided. Something epic.
We NEED a music change. "Y'all Ready for This" was old in 1996.
Do you think they'll reuse that player intro video montage with the Nightwish instrumental? Just superimpose Jacque Vaughn's head on Van Exel's and Elson's on Nazr's
and s/Matt Bonner/Sean Marks
