    For starters, the Warriors are able to shoot over the top of the Mavs' D. The Mavs have to respect the ability of Davis, Jack, Richardson, and Harrington to drive so they can't crowd them on the perimeter. This is a nasty matchup for the Mavs, moreso than Denver poses for the Spurs. Also, I think Golden State is better able to guard Nowitzki outside with their personnel and they have solid rebounders at the 1-3 spots. The Spurs' Big 3 took the night off and they almost pulled it out. The Spurs aren't facing a systemic problem like what the Mavs have with the Warriors.

    Poor Mavs getting Warriors is really their worse nightmare... I really don't care who wins but if Warriors win the series I wouldnt call it an upset.

    In spite of the Spurs loss tonight if GS can pull off this miracle, the Spurs are winning the le. In a 7 game series i know the Suns can not beat them, the Mavs are the only team that can IMO.

    The Mavs really got smoked.

    We got beat (barely) because our big three went fishing for the first 40 minutes. We made it a game and lost in the last minute.

    But the Mavs?

    Got royally ed over...

    All that crap about winning all those games--does not seem many people care about their regular-season right now.

    You base this on what? Suns can certainly beat the Spurs. Don't use 2005 as to why the suns can't win. Suns are a far better team now than they were then. Suns have alot more options now and the Spurs will need big performances from finley and Barry to come out of that series If it happens. Barbosa will be the spurs big problem...he is playing so well right now. If Manu doesn't match him then the suns will win the series without question..

    Suns are an awful matchup for the Spurs you saw it clear as day a few weeks ago. Tony will run wild on them and make Nash less effective because he can't defend Tony for the life of him. Amare will play well but he is not the Amare of 2 years ago and they lost in 5 then. Suns are never winning a le until they learn to get big stops late in games against big time teams and they have never been able to do that.
