I think Dallas and SA are finished, actually. Had we played GS and Dallas played Denver, both teams would have moved on, but these are the 2 teams that matchup the best against the 2 Texas teams repectively, and that spells doom for the state of Texas.

This is bullcrap. I still believe the Spurs will win this series, and seriously contend for the championship this year. And no I'm not being like a Kings fan or Nets fan being overly optimistic. We all know what the Spurs are capable of and they have proved they can win.

Original Poster: Your claims are completely absurd based both on record, statistics and viewing actual play. You say it's not about one game, but clearly it is. If you are so anti-Spurs, then go visit the forum of a team you can root for.
Why even bother posting here? To clear the fans heads/vision/whatever? Hel-lo! Sports teams continue to exist even during complete suckage because hard-core fans stick with them through thick or thin. That is what being a fan means. Anything else is simply bandwagonning or an appreciation of the sport.

See i just don't get that at all. As a Mavs fan I rooted for the Spurs during every one of your Finals appearances. And i rooted for Houston during theirs.
If we can't win then i am pulling for the Spurs or Rockets. That's how Mom & Dad raised me, to be a proud Texan till the day i die!
But to respond to the original point. The Spurs are not done. They have some matchup problems with the Nuggets but they are by no means done. the Mavs are closer to bering done than the Spurs and it pains me to even think that.

There's a game 2? I've heard it's over for the Spurs and Mavs so many times I was under the impression that the NBA was doing a single elimination tourney like the NCAA does.

Whats the big deal. So he doesn't believe the spurs will win the championship. That doesn't make him a non spurs fan. What you want to happen and what you believe will happen are not always the same.
