I think Nellie really benefits from the black and white format. In full color they'd show the bags under his eyes and the perpetually red nose and cheeks. He looks drunk all the time to me. Or maybe like Santa Claus if he got a make over.

I'd be interested in how they might render his enormous gut in a WSJ sketch.
