You don't touch the damn fans, no matter how obnoxious they might be.
No normal fan is getting paid millions of dollars to entertain by playing basketball.
I'm not saying they deserve verbal abuse from fans, but it's part of the job description and something every player has to deal with. Shoving a drunken idiot fan is simply unacceptable.
I never heard anything about punches. I just heard about a push, and there supposedly is video evidence that shows a push, but it wasnt clear enough as to who made the push yet, and they are still working on figuring it out.

Something actually happened and the fan went so far as to file a complaint with officials before leaving the game tonight. Last thing I heard while at the game was that they were going to try to find all of the camera angles they could, combine that with fan testimonies and flip it to the NBA office tonight. I'd expect to see more on this in the morning. But there's definitely something to it beyond just messageboard banter.

Lesson learned for the fan - when a player falls in your lap, let him go up, don't wrap your arms around his waist and try to keep him from getting back in the play.
