Sorry to change the subject but how does your league run the playoffs? What is the format ya'll use? I'm guessing you probably bowl in a scratch mens league, right? I bowl in mixed lge and been trying for the league to go to a playoff format.

I have made it to 2 gtg's and I live in Austin. If you live within 60 miles and don't show up for a gtg with a bull excuse you are a pussy and don't really enjoy the atmosphere of 100 screaming fans on an away game. Go root for the Mavs you damn wimps.

Sorry to change the subject but how does your league run the playoffs? What is the format ya'll use? I'm guessing you probably bowl in a scratch mens league, right? I bowl in mixed lge and been trying for the league to go to a playoff format.

The league ran in thirds, the top 3 teams each third made the playoff. This created a 9 team bracket, which dosent work, so the teams that finished third in their respective third will bowl one game with the low team dropping out. My team won the first third, so we dont have to worry about that. Now that the 8 teams have been decided we bowl 8 games of round-robin match play (one game vs. each team and the last game being position round) the best record winning the playoff, and a decent amount of money.
