Playing the fastest team in the NBA, this extra time off only helps the Spurs, especially coming back to the AT&T center. Excellent!

I could see how it could benefit us either way, because if we win game 2 the momentum is on our side. And although we may lose some momentum with the layoff we are still coming back to SA and the fans and players will be pumped. If we lose game 2, it gives us time to regroup and get ready for game 3 in SA. I see it as a plus either way.

I agree it works for the NFL, but fails to acheive the same excitement for NBA action.
