Manu's typically the kind of player who can win a game for you even if his shot isn't falling. He's usually a guy who attacks the basket and gets to the line, or causes defenses to collapse on him and leave shooters. He's not doing that anymore, and he's turning himself into Michael Finley with all the jumpshots. That's no disrespect to Fin. That's Fin's game, and him trying to play any other role is bad for the team. It ain't Manu's game, and the team suffers when he plays like it is.

Manu is a very good player who on any given night can be the best player on the floor. We have not seen that in some time from him in the playoffs, so it is worrisome to Spurs fans.
    Good description of Manu.

I don't know what's up with him but he is not the same Manu (I still love him though) . I'm thinking part of the problem is the Spurs wanted him to become more of a jumpshooter this season so that he wouldn't get hurt and this is just not his game. If I was Pop I would tell Manu to forget about that and do your game and be aggressive to the basket. I was looking at his stats and this is the worst playoffs he's having so far since being a Spur. He isn't even close to what he was last year (even when he was injured all season). I hope he can get out of whatever funk he's in.

    g) Raja Bell's defense.

Those years when Manu was scoring 30-40 points, they didn't have Raja Bell.
Where was Raja in the Denver series?
Here's hoping he'll be OK soon....I'd love to see him get his spark back!

Manu just needs to drive to the basket. Plain and simple. He's showed flashes a few times in the last game. He still has it, he just needs to use it.

How is his career in jeopardy? He's in a shooting slump. He was playing awesome basketball before the postseason started. He had some of the best numbers of his career this season.

Maybe that big bald spot on his head is causing him to play poorly?
