I like both. Though I did like Deron Williams way better than Chris Paul before they started their NBA careers. But Chris Paul made me change my mind with his play. So I like them both equally. They are also pretty much equal on the NBA court. Though for the Spurs (If we didn't have Tony) I would like to have Chris Paul.

All five of the Hornets starters missed extended time this season with injuries. In fact, just about everybody significant on the team missed significant time at some point or another. And they STILL almost made the playoffs.

And you're saying that CP's a defensive monster @PG spot ? LOL.

Baron Davis is playing at another level in this post season, that wouldn't be a good indicator of Williams overall defensive ability. In the Rocket series -yes i got to see 3 games aired in my country through StarSport- i watch him guarding TMac on some instances, and he held his own quite well in those switches.

I'm not saying Deron is in a higher level compared to CP, but personally, if i have to choose as an armchair GM, Deron is my preferred player to have.

And yes, i value man to man defense more compared to stealing ball here and there, fact that that's exactly the philosophy used by my fav team.

Baron would absolutely destroy Cp3 right now. Don't think Paul would have a shot in at guarding him. There's not a PG in the league who could shut him down. , he'd give Bowen fits the way he is playing.

I am not saying CP3 is a better defender but Deron is not exactly a shut down defender either. Davis would have his way with both of them. I still take Paul over Williams.
