Maybe the league should allow for initial reactions. It certainly seems reasonable. It's going to have to be an acknowledged change going forward, and may require the compe ion committee to approve it. I hope everyone just gets to suit up and go, but I have a hard time seeing how the league can do it unless they just pretend that Amare was actually going to the scorers table. Again, that's fine with me in this case.

I think something like that could be put in, but then every time you'd have any sort of a scuffle you'd have everyone on the bench jumping up and walking on the court shaking their fists and curing before returning to the bench. You have to treat the players like little kids sometimes - if you give them an inch they'll take a mile.


On the other hand, I don't think it's out of line for the league to expect these ADULTS who are getting paid millions of dollars to sit the down and keep their mouths shut. If Jalen Rose could do it, anyone could.

Yeah, I'm not sure there's any way around it. Teams know the rule and you still have situations like this. That certainly supports your position.

Obviously what happened was Nash and Bell both sprayed on some love potion which drove everyone within the scents distance wild. The refs got to them first while the players battled for their hearts.



Look at Tim and Marion, they'll battle to the death. Jack Nies is never letting go.

Michael Finley and Barbosa ain't letting Steve Javie take their man.
