Nash is ballsy, but anyone that thinks he should get respect for that "check" from Horry is re ed. Ive never seen a worse flop, you could tell on that play how much soccer the guy has played

Even timvp has to admit he's clutch....

Mardigan: It's not just the hits he takes (and he takes quite a few); it's his amazing passes, his killer instinct, and his Canadian sense-of-humor.

I would love to see Nash in a Spurs uniform.

Yeah, Kobe was clutch too when the Spurs lost all those times to the Lakers. I didn't see Spurs fans kissing his azz and feeling sorry for him throughout the series.

    Weak

    Kobe's not Canadian.

    OK, I'll expand: I don't feel sorry for Nash. He's the anti-Kobe.

Where Kobe is obnoxious, boastful and a ball-hog, Nash is quiet, un-assuming, and leads in assists.

Where Kobe gets in trouble with girls in hotel rooms, Nash doesn't get in trouble.

Plus, Kobe helped beat us three times in the playoffs. Until Nash does something against the Spurs, I can't hate him.

How 'bout the two times he tripped over his OWN feet and the zebras called fouls on the Spurs?

Nash gets away with more than any player I can remember in recent history. If the refs hadnt givin him so many bull calls last game he wouldnt have had as big of a impact

I cant stand watching Steve Nash flop against the wall like that, dear god if you cant stay up from that kind of hit perhaps you should hit he wieght room.

In no way is it right what Robert Horry did, however Nash did not need to fall down and throw his arms up like that.

Meh, that's the way good players are...

Isn't that what defenders of Bowen say?

    And the Spurs never flop...

Look, Spurs fans can still enjoy the games without hating every player, can't they?

    Impact=Money.
This is a billion dollar business. The league has to answer to their sponsers or no one makes a dime.
Always remember: A Heat/Mavs Finals, or a Suns/Cleveland Finals is ALWAYS going to make more money than a Spurs/Detroit Finals.

Sad but true in corporate America.

So far Bowens actions havent affected the games outcome down the stretch. Not only did Nash's bull get every call from the refs, but his overreaction at the end of the game could very well lose your team two of your best guys.

That's a stretch. It's not Horry's fault Amare is stupid, and it certainly isn't Nash's fault.

29 fts to 14 fts at home? The Spurs blew that game no doubt, but the refs played as big as a role as Nash himself.

A stretch? The guy threw himself on the ground like a drunk prom queen, layed there like he was in horrible pain, then popped right back like nothing was wrong. Of course his teamates ran to his side, it looked like he had gotten hit by a car. Nash is a little f-in . I had so much respect for him before this series, but after watching him this series, he is probably one of my least favorite players since John Stockton

Spurs fans have hit a new low. The Spurs squeak out Game 1 and Spurs fans act as if the series is over. Then when word of a lineup adjustment by the Suns is made public, Spurs fans laugh and say the series is officially over and that the Suns are panicking.

Then the lineup adjustment leads to the Spurs getting demolished in Game 2. The Spurs bounce back with a Game 3 win and then all of a sudden the series is over again and Spurs fans feel sorry Nash because he's such a gutsy character who will get his feelings hurt when the Spurs beat them in five. Then the Spurs choke away Game 4 and Spurs fan blame the refs while they are quietly happy for the gritty Nash.

It's a fun rollar coaster ride! I couldn't deal with it last night, I had to read it all this morning when it was easier to take.

Spurs games would lose something if SpursTalk didn't over react every way!

You can foul a guy however the you want. Sorry that Nash is such a little pussy that he cant take a tiny check and falls on the ground crying harder than D'Antoni. SPin it yourself however you like, but Nash's overreaction got at least Diaw suspended.

Wow. tunnel vision much? Suns had a few calls go their way in game 4. Spurs have been babied by the refs the whole series. Game 3 Bowen had at least a dozen blatant fouls on Nash, 1 was called.

My favorite play of the series ref-wise was in game 3 where Gifloppy missed a layup, no one touched or even bumped him, and after the miss he starts whining like a girl; as a result, he gets a late whistle by a ref who couldn't even see the play! You guys are priceless. You're so used to getting babied by the zebras that when a game is called squarely you start foaming at the mouth. Some of you anyway. Most Spurs fans are showing class. Those of you clamoring for an Amare suspension are just a disgrace.

Nash a flopper? No. Raja's a flopper. Manu's a flopper. A scrawny six-two guard getting rammed by a man twice is size while sprinting down the floor and he's supposed to what -- defy the laws of physics? Yes, clearly he dived into the table to get a flagrant after the game was already over -- no matter that he might have cracked his head open or ruined his back.

Seriously, it is clear from some of these posts that highschool physics teachers are failing miserably in their efforts to teach America's youth.
Go google "Newton" and see what pops up.

Why would we do such a thing? Nash is hilarious.

In the last series Odom committed a silly reach-around foul on Nash after a rebound. Odom gave him a big ol' bear hug. After Odom walked away, Nash flexed his biceps and kissed each one for the Suns bench to egg him on.

In last night's post-game interview, Sager asked Nash about what he was thinking about doing to Horry when he got up after the foul. Nash said something like, "Well, I've been working on my 'guns,' and I figured I could score some points on a few combos to the chest."

FWIW, Nash's charity approaches KJ levels. He's building a pediatric cardiology ward for a Paraguayan hospital out of his own pocket. He gets embarrassed when people ask him about, though. Most players are irritating with their self-adulating charitable contributions, but people like Nash and Duncan keep it real fo sheezy.
Yeah, its hard not to love Nash...unless he's shredding your team's defense late in the fourth quarter of a playoff game.

I like how you conveniently ignore timvp slamming your foul conspiracy...

Oh, well, as long as you both hate Nash all is right in the world!
