Tim prefers NBA Finals MVPs anyways.
OK Shaq, what's your point???
Tim prefers NBA Finals MVPs anyways.
Besides, many are probably fair weather fans and know little about Duncan since Duncan rarely talks to the media. Also, and let's be frank here, MANY vote for Nash because they think he's a handsome white man. I don't say they do it with racist intentions, but I think its intrinsic in their comment. Every woman who voted who is NOT a Spurs fan voted for Nash, for example. And every neutral white male fan probably voted for Nash because he could relate to Nash's game, being that he's not that much taller and thrives without getting up and dunking on people. Lame thread in general, Judaspriestess.
Exactly, I don't support Bell when arguements come up about him.
If the question was "which player below has one or more NBA Championship rings and MVP Finals trophys?" the results would have been dramatically different.
Why support a team with a thug like that on it?
Duncan over Nash any day of the week. And I like Nash, I think he's one of the best PG's in the league. But there's no comparison.
Nash has back to back MVP's, so does Duncan.
But Duncan has those three rings. And the MVP's that go with them.
Best player left in the Playoffs? There's only one answer.
Duncan is the best on BOTH sides of the floor. And that's the only way to get it done.
Pretty??? his eyes are on the sides of his head.
But I smell what your stepping in as far as your reference to the "All-American" image except he's CANADIAN.![]()
So, you resort to "92,000 out of 300,000,000 people, aka the entire country think Nash is better than Duncan" smack.
means if u ain't got the ring....
What pissed me off is that almost every sports reporter, journalist, analyst, commentator, and fan from coast to coast is saying that this series is the worst rigging they have ever seen.
steve nash, is great. still only the second best point guard in the playoffs though.
Do like the Spurs do and just play through it playa.
If I were a casual fan of the NBA with limited knowledge of basketball and not a fan of the Spurs, I might even vote against Duncan in such a poll just to make a petty statement. I'm thinking that by NOT coming off as too friendly in the media, being alarmingly unavailable for national interviews, and having a stoic look about him, I'd peg him for arrogant and condescending. Of course we in San Antonio know that is not the case, but images are powerful as you know.
Who cares what ESPN thinks.
I'm so tired of this. First they beat up on my boy "W' for being the worst pres. ever, and now they rippin my spurs for tainting the entire NBA season.
Just further proves to me that everyone that's trying to bypass the rules to give the Suns an unfair advantage are doing so out of a rooting interest rather than an interest in what's right.
are these the same sheep that voted for that lame ass president and dont take personal responsibility for anything they do?
I like Nash ... but I was in the house for the le clenching games in 2003 & 2005. No ing way in the world you'll ever convince me that Nash is better. At free throws, maybe ()... but, he's the same age as Duncan and aside from MVP's (which Duncan also has accomplished), want to compare their resumes?
So no, I'm not jealous.
*shrugs*
, I don't have any problem giving Nash his props, he's one of the best PG's I've ever seen play the game.
With that being said, big men-specifically talented big men lead teams to championships, period. So I would take Duncan in a heart beat over Nash without even giving it much consideration.![]()
Give me Kidd over Nash.
That was well said.
it says best player in the playoffs, but Nash wont be around too much longer. im sure Spurs fans dont care too much about this poll.
trust me, when you hang around here long enough you know that the three rings is all that matters![]()
This just in: white people nationwide like white basketball players.
how many rings you got?
