What ing horse . I watched Steve Nash for that entire series scream at refs with the look of a wild animal. He gets praised for being one of the NBA's "good guys," and when he goes off like that (which is more often than you'd think) he's "passionate."

There is a difference between whining when you do get fouled or getting called for a foul you didnt commit, as opposed to NOT getting fouled, or getting called for a foul you DID commit.

Tim Duncan whines an awful lot every single time he gets called for a foul, whether its a good call or a bad call. He whines every time. Which he has no reason to, with some of the bull calls they give him.
