If Kobe wants to be traded, send him to the Nuggets. He already has some history in Colorado.

Same thing was said when the deadline came and went with no "big" trades. Remember, "Spurs probably won't make playoffs"...

"If they do, they will be a first round exit"......yada, yada, yada.

Now here they are one game from the finals, and some Spurs fans still not giving this team credit.

If there's one thing I was being, it's serious.

Spurs would never go for it - 'cause then they'd get stuck with Beno and/or Vaughn at point.

Duncan would get frustrated with Kobe because Tim would only get the ball twice per game.
Not happening with egotistical a$$ bigman like Shaq, won't happen either with a ultra unselfish superstar bigman in SA. Certainly wouldn't happen if Pop keeps his reign.

Kobe would actually fit perfectly in the Spurs system, don't forget that Kobe is also 1st team D

Manu and Parker will get their 3 les, Spurs don't owe them anything

This is the worst post I've seen in a long time. Kobe is a drama queen. He would never fit in a Popovich's team.

The Spurs are poised for yet another le, why would they want or even need Kobe?

It's not star power which wins games, its having all the right pieces, which the Spurs have. Not to mention by trading Parker you'd have no point guard, with little chance of getting a good one. and point guard seems to be the key postion in the NBA right now, all the western teams who advanced passed the first round had really good point guards. You may have TD and KB but that would be it.

if you actually think Manu is consistent, then you've proved you've never seen Manu play more then 5 games
wow, you have the mind of a small child. you really are worthless to this entire forum.

not convinced I would do that trade though

So you think replacing the SPurs starting point guard and the one guy we have off the bench who can consistently put up numbers for a guy who just shoots is worth it? I like Kobe a lot but I would be super pissed if they made that trade. Manu for Kobe with no other player involved sure, but not both

(wipes tears from eyes) Oh, I needed that laugh. Thanks, man.

Oh, you were serious? Then, no ing way. Where are you going to find a decent point guard and back up and how were you planning to pay them when we absorb Kobe's monster contract? Additionally, what, precisely, are you going to do when Kobe complains that he's not getting the ball enough? No thanks.

Incidentally, I don't think he'd fit in this system - one of the big things about the system is the buy-in that no one is special or better than anyone else, and Kobe cannot adjust to that at this point, imo.

Would I consider Manu for Kobe and some scratch? Probably, but I still don't like it and there is no way that LA takes it.

I would rather focus on this championship run right now. I don't even want to sniff the Spurs' future until they are either elminated or victorious in the championship.
