One thing that the Butt Pirate and most trolls should realize is that they are funny in small doses. Posting over and over in small stretches defeats the purpose of trolling and will eventually get them relegated to the Troll forum.

I think if you want a troll to go away, the best method is to ignore him.

100% agree.

You can ban them but they will come back wiht a new user ID/IP.
If you ignore them, they look stupid and they finally give up because it's boring to troll when nobody cares about you.
